Delete your Manaaki account

You can delete your account and everything that goes with it whenever you like, from the Manaaki app or the website. It takes a minute and can't be undone.

How to delete it

  1. Sign in to Manaaki the way you usually do (Apple, Google, or email and password).
  2. Tap your initial or picture at the top right, then My profile.
  3. At the bottom, tap Delete my account…
  4. Type “delete my account” and tap Delete forever.

Can't sign in? Email hello@manaaki.app from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm it's you, then delete it within 30 days.

What gets deleted

  • Your name, email, mobile number, profile picture, and sign-in details.
  • Places only you host, with their photos, dates, notes and invite link. Guests with a visit planned there get an email.
  • For places you co-host, you're taken off and your co-host keeps the place.
  • Your trips are cancelled and the hosts are told, and your visits and activity history are deleted.
  • If you signed in with Apple, we end Manaaki's link to your Apple ID.

What we keep, and for how long

Everything above is deleted straight away. What's left with our analytics and other providers is removed within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep something. Copies in backups are removed as the backups expire. See the Privacy Policy for more.
